Nono Osuji is a first generation Nigerian-American, born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She studied Communication Science Disorders and minored in Theater/Performing Arts at Saint Louis University. Two years after graduating she moved to NYC to pursue a career in Entertainment and the Arts. As a way to gain some headway in the Entertainment Industry she decided that the she wanted to also learn more about the film and movie making process. She pursued and completed her studies in the Masters of Arts Media Studies and Film program from the New School University. She is now pursuing a career both in front and behind the camera while writing for her website: The Lupus Diaries.com, freelancing as a makeup artist, and trying her hand at screenwriting. She is also a member of the S.L.E Young Leadership Board in NYC. The board and the organization help people diagnosed with lupus, with resources and support during and after the duration of their illness. The organization has an annual Night for the Fight party for young professionals, who want to socialize with other young professionals while giving of their time and financial resources to help further the cause for Lupus. Right now, Nono is ready to embrace life and all of its challenges and blessings with optimism, hope and faith for her future.
